Check out his first-of-its-kind Mexico-meets-India collaboration with Chef Carmen Miranda at Tacombi. The event drew a crowd to Tacombi’s Bethesda restaurant.
Chef Alfred called the amazing taco (and that’s no exaggeration — yum!) a “synergy of two different flavor profiles in two different cultures.” The Chicken Tikka Masala Taco featured garam masala, ginger, and butter chicken sauce, wrapped in a Vista Hermosa corn tortilla, finished with cojita cheese.
Patrons were eager to try the rare and remarkable fusion of Chef Alfred’s Indian-American heritage with Chef Miranda’s Mexican Flavors in their mutual creation: the Chicken Tikka Masala Taco.
